Air India released an update on the social media platform X saying, “The check-in process may be delayed due to the problem in a third-party passenger system in Heathro. Our ground team is constantly trying to protect the passengers from inconvenience in London. Passengers traveling with us today from London, please do a web check-in before reaching the airport, so that they do not have any further trouble and can get easy experience.

Flying at Europe’s airports after cyber attack affected

The advisory stated, “A cyber attack led to a delay in flights and cassylation at many major airports in Europe, including Brucells, London Heathro and Berlin. The attack occurred on the Collins Aerospace, which provides check-in and boarding systems for many airports. The Brucells Airport issued a statement confirming that its automated systems shut down due to the late night attack on Friday (September 19, 2025) and only manual check-in and boarding became possible.

At the same time, London’s Heathrow Airport said that Collins Aerospace is facing some technical problems, due to which the passengers are facing problems.
