An interesting incident came to light during the US President Donald Trump’s second state visit to Britain. When Air Force One was going towards London, a Spirit Airlines’ passenger flight appeared to pass very close to him. This face-to-face of both aircraft was over New York. Although there was always a distance of miles between the two and there was no danger, the air traffic controller instructed the pilots of Spirit Airlines to change the way.
Order to change the way for pilots immediately
According to the NDTV report, Spirit Flight-1300 was going from Fort Lauderdel to Boston. The air traffic controller told the pilots several times, ‘Spirit-1300, immediately turn 20 degrees right.’ The controller also jokingly said, ‘Leave the iPad and focus on the plane.’ The untoward was averted due to changing the route of the aircraft.
