Pakistan has carried out air strikes in Khost and Nangarhar provinces of Afghanistan. According to reports, 6 people, including children, died and many have been injured in these attacks. This action was taken by the Air Force of Pakistan near the Durand line, from where there is a possibility of infiltration in Pakistan.
According to Pakistani security sources, the goal of these attacks was to target Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group. Both these groups are active in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and border areas. At the same time, TTP increased fatal attacks against Pakistan after the Taliban return in Afghanistan in 2021. Hundreds of Pakistani soldiers have been killed in these attacks so far.

Pakistan’s allegations and Taliban’s response
Pakistan has been continuously accusing the Taliban government of Afghanistan that it is giving shelter to TTP and other extremist groups. Pakistan also claimed that Indian agencies are active in Afghanistan and are helping anti -Pakistan groups. On the other hand, the Taliban administration has dismissed these allegations and said that they do not interfere in the affairs of any other country. Pakistan should not interfere in the internal affairs of the Taliban.
Army chief Aseem Munir warns
Pakistan Army Chief General Aseem Munir had warned several times that Pakistan will take action if the Afghan Taliban does not stop the terrorists. Now the aerial attacks that were now considered to be the result of this warning. Taliban leaders are also taking a stringent stand on this. He says that this step of Pakistan is a violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty.
Increased stress and war risk
Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI recently held a meeting of anti -Taliban Afghan groups in Pakistan. The Taliban has considered it a conspiracy to destabilize its government. After air strikes, there is a possibility of war -like situation between the two countries.
