The war of nuclear strength in Asia is at a new turn. India has made missiles that can drop atomic bombs in any corner of China and Pakistan. Agni-5’s recent Test and its advanced MIRV version is now not just a weapon but a strategic message that India is no longer behind anyone. Pakistan has 170 and India has recently increased its number to 180 warheads. All three have long distance missiles. But the difference is that India and China have the ability to finger nuclear weapons from land, sky and sea. While Pakistan still does not have the facility of sea -based launch. That is, in the event of war, India and China can complete nuclear triangles.

However, according to the Indo Pacific Defense Forum, India successfully tested its most dangerous ballistic missile Agni-5 from the launch site in Odisha in August 2025. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the scientists of the Nation and Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) for this achievement, describing this exercise as the first practice of its kind.
