Ukraine President Volodimir Zelanski said on Friday (15 August 2025) that even on the day of high level meeting in Alaska, Russia’s continuous attacks show that Moscow has no intention of ending the war. Jailonsky’s remarks came before the meeting of US President Trump and Russian President Putin. The talks between the two leaders are part of the efforts to end the conflict for almost three years.
Posting on social media, Zelansky wrote that Russian people are committing murders even on the day of conversation and it says a lot. He clarified that Ukraine is working with Washington and European colleagues working on the justification of war and is expected to have a strong stand from the US.
