Johnson was the first round pick in 2022 NFL DraftAnd he used to tackle a breakout in 2023 when he tackled for a total of 7.5 sacks and 11 losses. He was named Pro Bowl in that season, and hoped he expected to take another step forward before suffering from injury.
Even without Johnson for the vast majority of the season, Jets still managed to finish 11th in the league with 45 sacks. Johnson’s return should only make that unit more malignant under a defensive brain glenn.
