US President Donald Trump has imposed tariffs on India as well as many other countries. Trump had first imposed 25 percent tariff on India, but now it has been reduced to 50 percent. Meanwhile, a former Pentagon official has justified Trump. According to the ANI report, former Pentagon officer Michael Rubin has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and criticized Trump’s decisions.

There is to be a meeting between America and Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet Trump in Alaska. Trump has increased the tariff on India because of Russia. On this matter, Michael Rubin said, “Donald Trump did wrong by targeting India. The US buys uranium hexaphloride and other minerals from Russia. The US has also talked to Azerbaijan for gas, while most of its supply is from Russia or Iran and Americans are buying it.
