However, Trump did not mention India during this period. Actually, there are indications that America and India are working towards a separate agreement.

NATO country will have to decide together

Donald Trump wrote in the post, ‘The commitment to the war of NATO countries was not as strong as it should have been. Buying Russian oil from some NATO countries is shocking. He suggested that NATO should jointly tax 50% to 100% tax (tariff) on goods coming from China. Trump believes that doing so may end the war between Russia and Ukraine quickly.

Trump says that China has a great impact on Russia and if a heavy tax is imposed on China, then China’s hold on Russia will weaken, which will help in ending the war. He also said that these taxes will be removed after the end of war.

India protested against Trump’s decision

Trump further said, ‘If NATO listens to me, the war will end quickly and the life of innocents will be saved. If not, you are wasting my time and USA time, energy and money. However, from this stance of the US President, it seems that Trump is now withdrawing with the hope of helping India to end the Russia-Ukraine war.
